Good news for candidates as JEE Advanced 2018 Notification Information Brochure has been released. IIT Kanpur is inviting application forms for JEE Advanced 2018 entrance exam for admission in UG, PG, Engineering, Architecture, Sciences or Pharmaceutics courses. JEE Advanced 2018 is a national level entrance exam, through this exam candidates take admission in IITs & ISM. Every year JEE entrance exam is conducts by different – different IITs. This year JEE Advanced 2018 is conducting by IIT Kanpur. IIT Kanpur is an oldest IIT in India which was started in December 1959. In those days IIT Kanpur was the first Institutes in India which was offer Computer science education. At this time IT Kanpur is situated on the Grand Trunk Road in Kanpur District of Uttar Pradesh State, India.

For JEE Advanced 2018, candidates can submit application forms via only in online mode. No other way of application forms is acceptable for JEE Advanced 2018 engineering entrance exam. JEE Advanced 2018 online registration is going to start from 02nd May 2018. Along with starting date, candidates must also remember the last date of JEE Advanced online registration which is set on 07th May 2018. These both date candidates must remember if they want to participate successfully in JEE Advanced 2018 exam. After last date one day means 08th May 2018, is fixed last date for application fee submission. JEE Advanced 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • Indian Citizen can participate in this exam
  • PIO/OCI applicants can also apply for JEE Advanced exam 2018.
  • India nationals (including OCI/PIO) both are required to qualify in JEE Mains Exam 2018 also.

Performance in JEE Mains

  • Candidates should also score in JEE Mains Paper I among the top 220000 (including all categories) before participate in JEE Advanced exam.

JEE Advanced 2018 Age Limit Details

  • Candidates who are participating in JEE Advanced 2018 exam should be born on or after 1st October 1992. Relaxation in upper age will also provide to SC/ST/PwD categories applicants. These category applicants must be born on or after 1st October 1987.

JEE Advanced 2018 Attempts

  • In JEE Advanced exam, candidates can apply maximum of two times in a consecutive year. Applicants who were appears first time in JEE Advanced 2017 are eligible for appear in JEE May Exam 2018.

Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent)

  • Applicants should appear for the 10+2 or equivalent exam for the first time in either year 2017 or 2018. Those 10+2 or equivalent examination result for the year 2015-2016 were announced after June 2016, they are also eligible to participate for JEE Advanced exam.

Performance in 10+2 or Equivalent Examination

  • Candidates who are going to apply for JEE Advanced exam at least obtain minimum 75% aggregate marks (65% SC/ST/PwD category) in 10+2 or equivalent examination. Applicants must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of qualified candidates in their particular 10+2 or equivalent exam.
  • Those aspirants who had appeared in 10+2 examination in 2017 or its equivalent examination but reappeared in 2018, in this case best of two performances will be considered for JEE Advanced exam.

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2018
  • IIT JEE Advanced Exam will be held on 20th May 2018.
  • JEE Advanced will be conducted via online mode (Computer Based) only.
  • In this exam, there will be conducted two papers, candidates are required to participate on both papers.
  • In 2 papers there will be 3 separate sections which are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  •  All papers should be objective type (MCQ) as well as numerical answer type questions.
  • For JEE Advanced each paper total 3 hours time duration will be provided to candidates. Paper-1 Time is 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Paper-2 timing is 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Exam paper of candidates will be in two languages “Hindi and English”. Candidates will have to solver the paper which medium they have to fill at the time of online registration.

JEE Advanced 2018 Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) Exam Pattern

  • JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test will be organized on 14th June 2018.
  • This exam will be conducted in offline mode only (Pen Paper Based).

JEE Advanced Syllabus 2018 Complete Details

JEE Advanced Exam Contain topics form Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics subjects. Some important topics of the syllabus are given below:

Chemistry: Concept of atoms and molecules, neutralisation, Absolute scale of temperature, root mean square and most probable velocities and their relation with temperature, Bohr model, spectrum of hydrogen atom, quantum numbers, etc.

Physics: Units and dimensions, dimensional analysis, Kinematics in one and two dimensions, Linear and angular simple harmonic motions, Hooke’s law, Young’s modulus, etc.

Mathematics: Algebra of complex numbers, addition, multiplication, conjugation, Trigonometric functions, their periodicity and graphs, Cartesian coordinates, distance between two points, section formulae, etc.

JEE Advanced Admit Card 2018 Download

For appear in JEE Advanced exam, candidates will require JEE Advanced Admit Card. Candidates can download JEE Advanced Admit Card from www.jeeadv.ac.in on 14th and 20th May 2018. In this date candidates admit card downloading link will be active. You must remember candidates will not be allowed to participate in JEE Advanced without admit card. After successfully held the JEE Advanced exam on 20th May 2018, candidates JEE Advanced Answer Key will release online. Candidates JEE Advanced answer key will published online on 29th May 2018. Take your answer key in PDF format and match your answer from it, if you have find any mistake in answer key, complain it for correction on 29th and 30th May 2018.

JEE Advanced Result & Cut Off 2018

After held the JEE Advanced examination on (20th May 2018) and release exam answer key on (29th May), candidates JEE Advanced Result 2018 and JEE Advanced cut off marks list will release online in 10th June 2017 (Paper 1 & Paper 2). Candidates can check out their JEE Advanced result and prepare for counselling process if their result will be positive means (they passed examination).

JEE Advanced Counselling 2018 Process

Applicants JEE Advanced Counselling 2018 will start after release exam cut of marks merit list. On the basis of obtained marks and merit list situation, IITs, NITs, ISM & other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) will be allotted seats to candidates through counselling. During JEE Advanced Counselling process will start from 19th June 2018 to 15th July 2018. IIT JEE Advanced exam qualified candidates will have to appear in JoSAA seat allocation process to get a sit in colleges.
