Eligibility Criteria

2nd Year B.Tech (Marine Engineering)

Candidates with at least 55% marks overall in 3 years Diploma in Marine /Mechanical/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Eng. (OR) 4-years Diploma in shipbuilding Eng. from any Institute approved by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th/Diploma Exam

Candidate should have completed the diploma within its stipulated duration of 3 years

Age Criteria

Minimum age 18 years and Maximum age 25 Years

Crucial date to calculate the age will be from the date of commencement of the Academic Session

Relaxation for SC/ST candidates (if any)

There will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; however, it will not apply to English Marks. Maximum age relaxation is for five (5) years

2nd Year of B.Sc. (Nautical Science)

1-year Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) programme with 60% marks overall and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th Examination

2nd Year B. Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering)

Candidates with 60% marks in 4-year Diploma in Ship Building Engineering from the Institute of Ship Building Technology, Goa (or); 3-year Diploma in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from the AMET University, Chennai[or]

3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th Exam. The candidate should have completed the diploma within its stipulated duration of 4 years or 3 years as the case may be

Age Criteria

Minimum age 18 years and Maximum age 26 Years

B.Sc. (Ship-building and Repair) with at least 60% marks overall and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th Examination. The candidate should have completed the degree within the stipulated period of 3 years

Age Criteria

Minimum age 19 years and Maximum age 27 Years

The crucial date to calculate the age will be from the date of commencement of the Academic Session

There will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; however, it will not apply to English Marks. Maximum age relaxation is for five (5) years

Semester Fees

The Semester Fees depending upon the Program – will normally include some or all of the following: Tuition Fee (inclusive of Library Fee, Laboratory Fee, Workshop Fee, Industrial Visit Fee, Extracurricular activities Fee, Medical Fee, etc.), Mess Charges, Lodging Charges, Hair-cut Charges, Laundry Charges, cost of Uniform, cost of Books and so on

They do not include the interest free, one-time Caution Deposit of Rs. 20000/- collected at the time of admission

Admission Procedure

Admission to UG courses is provided on basis of combined score in previous class and marks earned in current course till present semester.
