Good news for you guys!! As IES 2018 Notification and dates has been announced. IES 2018 application forms online registration is going to start very earlier. Union Public Service Commission inviting application forms by the eligible and talented candidates for Engineering Service Examination IES 2018. Every year Union Public Service Commission is conducts Engineering Service Examination to recruit aspiring engineer candidates on various posts in Indian Engineering Services under central government of India. UPSC (संघ लोक सेवा आयोग) is a central recruiting agency in India which is responsible for appointments and conducts examinations for All India services and group A & group B of Central services. IES is also known as Engineering Services Exam / ISS. Every year in UPSC IES examination Nearly 2 lakhs candidates are participate. Through IES examination candidates are recruit under the Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering categories. After get placement, candidates are work under the government of India as class 1 officer. Work nature of the candidates are depends on their engineering branch or cadre in which they are recruited. After qualify in this exam candidates start their career as first positions Assistant Executive Engineer and if progress goes smoothly position of candidate hierarchy ends at Chairman/ Managing Director Post.

In this year UPSC IES 2018 or UPSC ESE/ISS 2018 online application forms registration is going to start from 21st March 2018. If you are ready then apply for this exam without any hesitation. IES 2018 application forms online registration will be completed on or before last date that is 16th April 2018. So, all eligible candidates will apply on or before given last date. After last date, anybody else application forms should not be acceptable by Union Public Service Commission. We are advising you before fill the IES application form, please match your eligibility criteria from official notification of UPSC IES because if you will not complete the eligibility criteria then you are not liable to participate in IES examination. After successfully apply, applicants will participate in IES exam on 29th June 2018.

For UPSC IES 2018 or UPSC ESE/ISS 2018, application forms should be accepted only in online mode. Any other mode or way of application forms similarly will be rejected without any confirmation. So applicants will have to apply only via online mode. Dear applicants when you have to fill online application forms of IES then provide only right information about you like your name, age, academic records, address etc otherwise your forms may be rejected if you will provide wrong information or misguide to UPSC. As all of you know, IES is one of the toughest exam in India, so you have to prepare for this exam in good way. To crack this exam in first attempt is not an easy task, for this you need to do hard preparation.

IES 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • A citizen of India
  • A citizen of Nepal or
  • A subject of Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with the motive to permanent settling in India

Required Educational Qualifications

  • Degree of B.E. / B.Tech or passed sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India).

OR

  • Degree/ Diploma in engineering from foreign University/ College/ Institution from any recognized university by the Government of India.

OR

  • Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India).

OR

  • Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India.

OR

  • Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959.

Age Limit

  • For IES 2018, minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years. Relaxation in upper age will be provided to candidates as per given below –

IES 2018 Application Fee Details

Candidates who are going to participate in IES must deposit Rs. 200 as payment of application fee in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur / State bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. Female/SC/ST/PH category candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

IES 2018 Selection Criteria

Applicants will be selected or not decision will be taken on basis of following sections rounds-

  • Stage-I:  Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage-I) Examination
  • Stage-II:  Engineering Services (Main/Stage-II) Examination
  • Stage-III: Personality Test, conducted by selection committee of the Union Public Service Commission

Way to Fill IES 2018 Form
  • First of all candidates will log on Union Public Service Commission Official Website which is www.upsconline.nic.in
  • Then go on “संघ लोक सेवा आयोग की विभिन्न परीक्षाओं के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन” Link.
  • A new page will open, read official advertisement carefully.
  • Sign – up your account, do PART I Registration.
  • Then start to fill application forms, provide all details in right manner like candidate name, age, academic qualification etc.
  • After Part I Registration candidates will have to register for Part II along with that your user id and Password.
  • Upload educational documents/ certificates/ photograph and signature {if required}.
  • Pay the application fee by using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
  • Finally submit your IES 2018 application form after double check, take hard copy print out of application form for further use.

UPSC IES Admit Card 2018

In this year UPSC IES exam is going to organize on 29th June 2018. Candidates IES / ESE Admit Card 2018 will release online at Union Public Service Commission official website before held the examination 10-15 days. Candidates will download their admit card just entered their registration number or age or name and will appear in exam reliably.

UPSC IES Answer Key 2018

After held the examination of IES on 29th June 2018 applicants can download their UPSC IES Answer Key 2018 after 1-2 days (it time may be increase or decrease). From UPSC IES exam answer sheet, candidates can tally their questions answer one by one and can take an idea about their exam result means they will be fail or pass in IEs examination

UPSC IES 2018 Result & Cut Off

After successfully completion of UPSC IES examination, applicants IES Result 2018 will publish online at Union Public Service Commission official website. Candidates can check out their ESE examination result by name and roll number wise.
