Online Application forms are inviting by Indian Institute Of Management (IIM) Calcutta (AICTE) for admission into Post Graduate Programmes in Management and Programmes in Management (FPM). Students who have related academic record they are fully eligible for this chance of management courses. The institute at Calcutta was established first, on 13 November 1961, and was named Indian Institute of Management Calcutta or IIM Calcutta. It was set up in collaboration with the MIT Sloan School of Management, the government of West Bengal, the Ford Foundation and the Indian industry. The institute at Ahmedabad was established in the following month and was named Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Like MIT Sloan in the case of IIM Calcutta, Harvard Business School played an important role in the initial stages of IIM Ahmedabad. The Union Cabinet, on 24 January 2017, approved the Indian Institute of Management Bill, 2017 which declares IIMs as Institute of national importance and enables them to grant degrees and further bring many other important changes to the institute. The IIM bill was passed by the Lok Sabha on 28 July 2017 and by the Rajya Sabha on 19 December 2017. After receiving the presidential assent, the IIM bill has become an Act on 31 December 2017. Willing candidates must apply online today for a best fit course.

Application Form Online Registration details are given in CAT Notification and according to that form will be started to receive from all eligible candidates by Second week of August 2018. Those candidates who are interested can submit their application forms till last date 04th Week of September 2018. Once appliers have to submit their application forms successfully after that they have to appear in entrance exam. Before make submission of your application forms, it is necessary to check your all eligibilities. Every candidate’s eligibility criteria should be as per the requirement of IIM and if the eligibility criteria should not match then your application forms will be rejected at the same time of checking it.

Deserving candidates of entire country will have to remind that CAT 2019 application forms will be accepted Online only. So guys submit application forms before the final date otherwise it would not be accepted at any cost. All appliers have to provide only accurate details when they sit to fill form online, if any candidate will provide wrong information then application forms will not be considered. Next most important thing is preparation, if candidates do prepare themselves in good way for entrance exam yet they can obtain good marks and their admission probability may reach high with good marks. Exam will be conducted on November 25, 2018 (Sunday).

The categories of disability are:

  1. a) Blindness and low vision
  2. b) Deaf and hard of hearing,
  3. c) locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy,
  4. d) Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness
  5. e) Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (d).

Eligibility Criteria

For CAT exam, applicants need to satisfy the eligibility criteria for exams. Applier must have done Bachelor’s or its equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks or its equivalent CGPA from recognized University/ Institutions by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Contenders belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) category must have minimum 45% marks.

Candidates pursuing graduation (final year) and if their result are awaited can apply for CAT Exam.

Registration Fee

For CAT, students are required to pay registration fee only once. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances. In the below section, category wise fee is given, candidates can go through it and pay the registration fee accordingly.

For SC, ST and PwD category candidates: Rs. 900/-

For all other categories of candidates: Rs. 1800/-

Admission Process

On the basis of CAT score, selection of candidate for admission will be decided. CAT exam will be conducted in three rounds. Qualified candidates in first round will be proceeding to further round for final admission. Total score in all rounds will lead to final admission in IIMS.

How to Apply
  • Log on to the official site that is iimcat.ac.in
  • On home move towards “For Online Application” tab.
  • All new users press on “Registration for new user” and already have account than press “Sign in for existing user” link.
  • Now use the ID and password at required space before enter on “Log in” button.
  • Fill the Admission form with required and correct details and upload passport size photograph and signature (if required) & also pay the fees
  • After filling form in correct manner check it once again and submit it by pressing ‘Submit’ button.
  • In the end take printout of submitted form for further use.

CAT Admit Card 2018

Dear appliers CAT Admit Card will be issued soon and this paper document should be there to appear in the examination as no candidate will be allowed to sit in the examination hall without it. CAT Result & Cut Off 2018

After completed exam process on notified dates, aspirants CAT Result and CAT Cut off Marks Merit List will available online from issue date. Candidates can check out their result by name or unique registration/roll number.

CAT Counselling 2018

After successfully declare the list of qualified candidates in entrance test, students will be called for CAT Counselling 2018. Students have to bring original and self attested copy of required document at counseling.  Seats will be allotted to candidates as per their ranks, preference and availability of seats.
